Step 2: Schedule a Consultation
We'll meet in person with a partner if involved. This is a relaxed conversation where you can learn more about my practice, ask questions, discuss your hopes for your pregnancy and birth, and determine whether my approach to care feels like a good fit. There is no obligation or pressure, I want you to find the right midwife or care path that is best for you!
Step 3: Take Time to Decide
Choosing a birth provider is an important decision. I encourage families to take the time they need to ask questions, gather information, and choose the provider who feels right for them. Like all decisions during your care, the goal of our consultation is not to convince you. It's to help you make an informed decision. I save your spot for 2 weeks or until I hear back.
Step 4: Begin Care
If you decide Northern Glow Midwifery is the right fit, we'll complete enrollment paperwork, review next steps, and schedule your first prenatal appointment. From there, we'll begin building the relationship that will carry us through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
A Few Things to Know
Because I am often in appointments, attending births, or caring for postpartum families, I may not be able to respond immediately. I do my best to return messages as quickly as possible. I prefer not to get phone calls for setting up care because I often catch sleep during the daytime hours after being up at a birth.
